Questions
Before you join.
Anything else, call the clubhouse on 01632 960419 or send us a message.
Ask a question
Do I need to be good at tennis to join?
Not at all. Plenty of our members started with the Adult Beginners course. Social sessions are mixed ability and someone will always find you a game.
Can I try the club before I join?
Yes. Come to two social sessions as a visitor for free, book a coaching taster, or come along to the Try Tennis Free open day.
How do I pay?
Pay for the year in one go, or monthly by Direct Debit through our payment provider. The membership year runs from 1 April, and we pro-rata if you join later.
What’s included in family membership?
Two adults at the same address and all their children under 18. Everyone gets their own login for court booking.
Is there a joining fee?
No. We’d rather you spent the money on new strings.
Do I need my own racket?
Not to start with. We lend rackets for coaching and social sessions, and padel rackets are free to borrow at the clubhouse.
Can non-members book a court?
Padel courts, yes, through the booking system at the non-member rate. Tennis courts are for members and their guests.
What do I wear?
Trainers that don’t mark the courts and whatever you’re comfortable moving in. No dress code, apart from the club championship finals if you’d like to dress up.
Not sure yet? Come to a social session first.
Tell us your age group and how much you’ve played, and we’ll suggest a session, a coach or the right membership. No commitment.
